- כְּבָרָהf. (b. h.; v. כְּבָר) 1) a large round vessel (cmp. כְּוֶורֶת). Sabb.35a כמין כ׳ בים a rock in the sea of the shape (and size) of a Kbarah; Tosef.Succ.III, 11 סלע מלא כ׳ a rock of the size ; Tanḥ., ed. Bub., Bmidb. 2 סלע כמין כ׳ Ms. R. (v. ib. note 2 1); v. כְּוֶורֶת. 2) basket used as a sieve (v. Sm. Ant. s. v. Vannus). Kel. XV, 4 כ׳ של בעח״ב a household sieve, contrad. to כִּבְרַת גרנות the large sieve of the threshing floor.
